Illumination Promises to Live By

Love is investment, Love of Life, Family, Friends, Lovers, Strangers, of Work and Play.

Without that investment, all is empty, without a true return.

Cherish each good day,

Embrace the past, Embrace the now, Embrace the future,

Release the past, Allow the now, Let the future happen.

Love Now. Remember where love was needed and I failed to give it, Remember where love was needed and I provided it.

Look forward for chances to share love, yielding to others, but mutually with the strength to support.

Remember that no matter how urgent my troubles may seem, the solution is always outside of me in love given. Love given to everything and everyone, and every moment.

Become a warrior for Love. Sturdy, applying love gently and with determination to each moment, to each situation, each thing, each person, to the world and everything in it.

Remember that Love is quiet, until called forth by others, for only then can it be trumpeted. For Love is quiet, and jubilant, all in one, as timing and need declare.

Seek this in my heart, in my actions and in each facet of my life. Quietly, humbly, but like a river that won’t be dammed.

Remember that commitments to others can never be kept, until I have kept them to myself.

Love myself, knowing that the only way to truly see if this is so, is in the reflection I see in the eyes of those I love. Not within myself.

Keep trying even when I realize just how difficult this will be. No matter how often I fall.

Remember that sometimes Love can only be demonstrated by physical effort, other times by silence.

Reach out and help strangers, because otherwise these words are shallow. They can always send me on my way if they don’t want it.

Bring the focus of all I have known, all I hope to be, to Now. To be everything past and future in the present tense, to give my full attention to the now. In everything I do.

Cherish each moment, good and bad, and each person that crosses my path. Love, in the end it is the only effort you can really make.

Cherish each person I meet, for it is only my sincere interest in them that makes me worthy. That fills my life with Love.

Cherish, be receptive and listen to all I am offered.
