Iraqi Freedom? Or Free Doom?
I was just reading an article from Reuters carried on Yahoo, "Iraq secularists denounce "Islamist" constitution".
To me this is the money quote:

To me this is exactly what the Islamo-fascists want. Now, many people would argue against that phrase, but I've been watching , and almost all of those who want to "get us" seem to fall into a category of wanting Sharia law. I think it's safe to say Osama, as well as the many radical clerics who openly call for our destruction (I thought we were fighting a war on terror against them, but hey, maybe the war is actually against secularists like me, and T. Jefferson, G. Washington, and B. Franklin) are actively trying to get Sharia law installed in the entire middle east and beyond. So how did we end up on the same side as Osama bin Laden?
No really, Americans...how did this happen. How did we become so against our own way of life that we are listening to men like Pat Robertson who decry the secular government, that derives it's authority from us, bequeathed to us as our birthright by the founding fathers?
Everyday I read some evangelist speaking against secular government, everyday I hear some neo-con speaking against the great legacy the founders left us.
Conservatives often argue against grade "inflation" and other "feel good" grading policies by the "liberals", and yet, if this isn't failure, and as far as I can tell the conservatives don't think it is, than there must be no way to fail.
Basically, we went to Iraq to give Osama bin Laden everything he wanted...Sharia law in Iraq. As far as I can tell, the Islamo-fascists have won.
Ho hum.
