Well, it's official, we have now lost Iraq to our enemies...
In an article titled: "Islam to guide constitution" the Tribune tells how the Iraqi constitution will state: "that no law will be permitted that contradicts Islam, language that could potentially see Iraq transformed into an Islamic state."
This is important to note, because it was just such religious inclinations that supposedly justified the 9/11 attacks.
So now the question is: Is this just a screw up by Bush and co. or, did they do this on purpose as part of thier surrender to Osama Bin Laden and the Theocracy of the House of Saud?
I think we have to assume at this point that the Presidency of the US has officially been taken over by the Theo-Facists.
If you think I am just being crazy, I would point out to you that officially, by the doctirnes of Islam, we, our country, our traditions, our democracy, our laws, are the laws of infidels, the ideas of infidels, and this is why they want to kill us. Hmmm...so Bush has built another country that wants to destroy us as a mater of religious purity?
Whose side is he really on. Clearly not the side of America.
More choice words from the article: "One draft version circulating in Baghdad goes even further in laying the foundations of a Shiite Islamic state by calling for a special advisory role for the Shiite religious authorities to be constitutionally enshrined. It also allows the government to designate "another" capital, a veiled reference to the desire of some Shiites that the Shiite holy city of Najaf should be the capital."
Praise Allah? Apparently Bush does.
Update to add some sugar to how Bush is comprised by his Saud connections: Here is a post from Reasons Hit 'n' Run concerning the fact that the (just) retiring Saudi Ambasador is actually an extened family member of the Bush clan (up to being the only person Barb Bush lets smoke in the house other than little Georgie).
Why? It helps that Barbara and George H. W. Bush have all but adopted Bandar and Haifa. "The Bushes are like my mother and father," Haifa told The New Yorker. "I know if ever I needed anything, I could go to them." In the May issue of The Atlantic, Robert Baer, a retired CIA agent, wrote that, around the Bush family Kennebunkport, Me., compound, the prince is known as "Bandar Bush."
"To this day," the elder George wrote to The New Yorker, "Bandar is the only person besides the President of the United States that Bar lets smoke in our house, although both have to do it in their room with the door closed."
