Head of FBI officially comes out against Constitution and American Values

In this article over at the Chicago Tribune, "FBI wants more subpoena power" FBI director "Mueller said he objects to any oversight of an FBI subpoena outside of the bureau."

Just as a reminder, I once again post the 4th amendment:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

So why has Dir Mueller come out in favor of America's enemies? Why does he join those who would see us give up our freedom, like Osama Bin Laden?

I don't know, but it's telling. How did so many anti-Americans get into the highest levels of office? Mr. Mueller apparently does not understand why the founding Fathers specifically wrote this amendment....to protect us from people like Dir. Mueller, that's why!

It's important to understand the case. The FBI wanted info on a student that attended a school. Of course the school was forbidden by law from making this information public. A smart law enforcement officer would have known this and spent the hour getting the subpoena, but no, the FBI no longer understands about liability, nor the rule of law, they now believe that anytime someone with a gun and a badge demands something he should get it. That's not how it works in a land of law. Although I do hear that's how Russia and China work.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. There is absolutely no reason to believe any man woman or child has the right or the need to transcend basic American values of the rule of law.

Unless the goal is the destruction of the rule of law in the US. And right now, I have to go with the assumption that Dir. Mueller wants just that. The action he takes now are as damaging, if not more damaging, than Osama's attacks upon us.
