Torturing the innocent
This was in the case of the man whom you have seen with a hood over his head, and wires attached to him. He was told that he would be electrocuted. They thought he knew something. They finally realized he didn't, he was innocent. And he was being treated to a little fun, AmeriKa style.
Here is some testimony from a Reuters story, "Soldier describes wiring abuse victim"."
'Agent Romero wanted him stressed," Frederick told a military court at the nation's largest Army base. He quoted the agent as saying, "I don't give a f--- what you do, I just want him to talk tomorrow."
and
'Spc. Israel Rivera said he was too intimidated to report the incident or to protest. "They were the ones with the authority," Rivera said.
Asked why he did not report the incident, he responded: "It seemed like it would be compromising my own safety. If they were willing to do this to a detainee, why wouldn't they do this to me?"'
Welcome to AmeriKa.
I want to say a personal thank you to everyone who has supported Bush and the Republicans. You have destroyed Liberty and Justice, protected us from those dangerous queers, kept medical treatments off the shelves for exclusively religious reasons, and aligned us with some of the most evil regimes alive.
But at least the president doesn't touch the interns, Right? I mean come on, we gotta have priorities, Right?
