Well, here's a point of view we won't be hearing...

on the evening news.

Boing Boing links to an open letter to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice from Former Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Lloyd Axeworthy, it's rude. I like it. They quote more of it, but I'll just stick with this, it's what you won't here unless you dig, but from what I have been able to find out it's true...

"
I know it seems improbable to your divinely guided master in the White House that mere mortals might disagree with participating in a missile-defence system that has failed in its last three tests, even though the tests themselves were carefully rigged to show results."(my emphasis).

Well, here's the letter.

I remember after 9/11 there was a lot of "why do they hate us?" Nowadays the Left is sure they know(we are bad, just plain bad-ok, not everyone on the left, but way too many for my comfort), the Right is sure as well: A. They don't or B. It doesn't matter in the least bit anyway.

Me, I don't seem to fit in either camp. In the end I don't "listen" to what other people have to say when I make final, impotant decisions, but I do want to "hear" what people have to say when getting ready to make those decisions.

And what Mr. Axeworthy is saying, is worth hearing.
